Bandits are now in Enugu State according to unverified reports. Dear Enugu bright minds, let me make it categorically clear, do not allow anybody regardless of their history or demography to settle in your forests; you have vast, thick, and beautiful forests.
I can testify to this due to my recent visits for PhD data collection (attached Picture was me inside one of the thick forests, Ngwo Cave precisely).
Anybody who wants to do anything in your state should come into town, look for apartments, and pay rent like any normal person. If pastoralists must pass through, make arrangements and ensure they’re guided going in and going out.
This is an admonition for now; your forests are thicker by far than the ones in Northwest and North Central.
If you don’t act fast and proactively, you’ll cry reactively when these bandits settle and start causing harm. A word is enough for the wise.
